About the role
As part of our MSD Housing Team, you will field a range of housing queries and will often be the first point of contact for New Zealanders in need of our help. We provide a supportive environment, the training and tools needed to succeed so you can use your knowledge to provide the best information and solutions for callers.
The starting salary for this role is $46,925.00 per annum, with the ability to progress to a maximum salary of up to $60,727 per annum based on performance progression.

In this role you use your exceptional communication skills to assist callers through various situations. On any given day, you could be completing assessments, managing financial and housing requests or liaising with housing providers. A high attention to detail is necessary as the role requires a considerable amount of processing and inputting data into multiple software platforms.
About the hours
Our housing team currently works between the hours of 6.55am and 6.15pm, Monday to Friday. It is important that you can work shifts with varying start and end times, which you will know a few weeks in advance. Please note that the contracted hours for this role are 6.30am to 10.00pm Monday to Saturday, in case we need to provide extra services to New Zealanders.
To succeed in this role you do need to enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, building relationships and solving problems. You are reliable, focused and able to support and motivate others to overcome obstacles remaining resilient and calm under pressure.
You must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application (this is a Level 4/5 ANZSCO position).
